EKI maintains strong connections to the network of colleges and universities that prepared our staff to be the technical leaders they are today. To give back, several of our leaders are on or are in the process of joining their alma maters’ advisory councils or boards.
Environmental Engineer Robert Plybon, PE (Duke ’14, Stanford ‘15) is joining the Alumni Advisory Board for the Duke University Civil and Environmental Engineering department
Vice President/Principal Geologist Edward Conti, PG, CEG, CHg (Cornell ’83, Duke ’87) continues to serve on the Advisory Council at Cornell University’s Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Ed is one of the council’s founding members.
Robert and Ed will have the opportunity next week to meet with students, professors, and department leaders, tour updated facilities, and convene with fellow alumni to provide their perspectives on ways their alma maters can prepare students to address environmental challenges facing society today.
